Today is haircut day.

I’m no good at haircuts.
I can never remember what clipper size to tell the lady.
“So are you a five? A six?”
Fucking hell lady I don’t know.
“How do you want the back, squared off or rounded?”
I can’t see back there, I don’t know, why are you asking me all these questions?
“How do you usually style it?”
Style it? You are speaking as though there were some rhyme or reason to how my hair looks at any given time. There isn’t, it’s just chaos — chaos and hats. Just…just start cutting, and then we’ll see how it looks in 10 minutes.
