Vacation day 5 review:
This was our off day. We decided last night that we were going to skip Disneyland today and stay an extra day, because consecutive theme park outings can be pretty tiring. We slept in, got up, and went to Denny’s for breakfast/lunch. Afterward we left the diner, got in the car, and tried to start it.
Tried.
It didn’t kick over, and we panicked. It just wouldn’t start, and it wasn’t the battery. A few guys came over from across the lot and looked at it, and we were directed to a nearby mechanic. We checked it out, walked back, and I called AAA for a tow. Luckily, however, it started when we got back and we managed to take it to the mechanic. He checked it and couldn’t find anything, so we drove it back to the hotel and prepared for a night of comedy at UCB Theatre.
Then it started smoking.
Apparently when we took off the cap on the coolant we didn’t screw it on as crazy tight as we should have and the fluid burned up for some reason. We were on the side of 101-N letting it cool down, and unfortunately we missed the first show. But we eventually got to the theatre, had a fun conversation with an attractive redhead who was in line with us, and saw the following acts during Comedy Bang Bang:

- Some guy in glasses I don’t remember who was hilarious
- Kyle Kinane
- Chelsea Perreti
- John Melaney
- Chris Hardwick
It was amazing. Also: Michael Cera was in the crowd with us, and he had a weird mustache.
